Following are some interesting articles I encountered this week on the subject of craft beer:
- Homestead Beer Co. is re-opening its taproom on April 5. The taproom is located at 811 Irving Wick Drive in Heath, Ohio.
- Wolf’s Ridge brewing is releasing a 3-part series of Belgian beers they’re calling The Wolf Pack. All three beers will be on tap in time for a seven course Belgian beer dinner on April 14.
- A Denver Post article shares “What you need to know about green beer”
- A story about Founders Brewing Co.’s Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) and how it became a phenomenon. (FYI, if you want to know what this beer tastes like, I found it very similar to Kentucky Ale’s Bourbon Barrel Stout.)

- The bill proposing an increased alcohol limit on beer is in committee now.
- Dock Street Brewery in Philadelphia is brewing a beer with goat brains in it (yes, you read that correctly)

- Starbucks is branching out, and will start selling alcohol after 4pm in a move to boost sales.
